SLD, from Vitobest®, is presented as a supplement distributed in five individual containers of 60 capsules each, corresponding to the five liver detoxification routes: sulfation, conjugation, glutathione, methylation and glucuronidation. To this end, it combines in its composition amino acids, vitamins and plant extracts with recognized protective properties for liver function. Among them:

  • NAC: its administration reduces the levels of liver enzymes and pro-inflammatory markers such as interleukins and other cytokines. It is also an antioxidant and regulates liver functionality1.
  • Milk thistle (Silybum marianum): it has antioxidant and hepatoprotective effects. According to some studies, its supplementation has shown benefits2.
  • Desmodium (Desmodium styracifolium): its active principles give it hepatoprotective, antioxidant and immune system regulatory properties3.
  • Choline: its consumption is related to proper liver function. It can also help us in cases of fatty liver4.
  • SAMe: by increasing glutathione levels, it protects liver cells against injuries caused by free radicals in the body5.
